What works for me offseason is to cycle my carbs
What works for me offseason is nothing special. I am not bodybuilding and maintaining 260 pounds anymore. To keep me at 210 and under I use a carb cycling method. 6 days a week I keep my carbs at 75 or less (50 of those are pre workout) My day where I go over 75 is usually Sunday and I usually consume an excess of 600 carbs that day to replenish glycogen for the week. Clean days are also low glycemic. You could compare this to the cyclin ketogentic diet, but 75 carbs on the 6 days is too many to consider it valid. It works for me though as I stay 7-9% BF for my offseason in physique competition.

I believe in supplementation
Not because I've worked for Vitamin Shoppe and GNC and currently work for BPI, but because supplements actually WORK for me is why I believe. My basics are a multivitamin, fish oil, and greens. From there you determine your goals for yourself. Proteins obviously can be beneficial if you dont eat enough. Creatine has been clinically proven to have many benefits in more than just muscle power and size. BCAAs are my favorite addition in supplementation. Test boosters are great for males about 26+ for energy and body composition. My body would not be as detailed as it is if it weren't for supplements. It would be good due to my effort and commitment, but details set you apart
My Motivation Philosophy View My Full Motivation Philosophy
Self motivated cause I hate losing more than I love winning
Motivation comes from within. 2 people cn witness the same thing and take different thoughts away from it. Iwatch Phil Heath win Olympia #2 and get an itch to compete again and start dieting and training harder immediately. Someone else sees it and feels happy for him but goes about there normal routines and never progress. You have to want it, live it, breath it, and believe in it.
