I have always been a healthy person, even as a kid growing up. Though, I got tired of being a stick. My fast metabolism made it almost impossible to gain any weight. I began training calisthenics in my junior year of high school for the fitness team. Never touched weights until I turned 18. I believe I was underweight, at an estimate of 120lbs. A friend of mine brought me to a gym and introduced me to the world of weightlifting. Since then, I trained hard and gained a solid 20lbs of muscles.
Why I Love It:
I never really practiced any specific sport during my childhood and always wanted to improve my overall athletic ability. However, it is was difficult to find that one sport that I would be dominant. My weekly training allows me to feel good about myself. I feel that I actually accomplished something oppose to when I tried picking up a sport.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated through the visible results of my hard work, compliments from others, and just the feeling of accomplishments after that grueling workout.
BB Accomplishments:
My biggest accomplishment to date, is the transformation from a stick figure to a solid 143lb human being.
I really don't have a definition for a goal. Training is something I love to do, and will definitely continue as long as I am capable. I consider it more as a hobby rather than trying to reach a definite point of desire. I enjoy every second of it.
Oh I see man, where you going to school. I have not had the chance to workout the past few days...been outta town due to a funeral, ready to get back though.
