How I Started:
Like a lot kids in high school, I began to improve my performance in athletics.
Why I Love It:
You know that feeling when you don't work out and you feel sluggish, slow, stiff, like you have sludge in your veins, tired all the time, gross, weak, and kind of blah? Well, working out makes me feel about the opposite of all that.
How I Stay Motivated:
Many different ways: talking to people, seeing others that train a lot, seeing photos, trying new workouts, getting challenged, showing off, feeding the ego :), challenging myself, challenging others, looking at Bodyspace members' photos.
I've always lifted for mass, strength, and power. Needless to say, never been a fan of cardio! :) I have finally realized that, aside from feeding the ego, there aren't too many reasons for increasing my maxes by 50 pounds each. I need to lean down, maintain my current mass, and go from there. Luckily, with my job, I have access to a gym any time.
Thanks for all the motivation all you Bodyspace members give.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 30 lb

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you to be a better parent?
I have more energy to spend up with my boy. I will be able to do athletic activities with him when he is old enough. Hopefully by being a more active daddy, we will have a lot of fun experiences together.I have more energy to spend up with my boy. How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
I am a strength and conditioning coach so it is important that I "practice what I preach." I try to make sure I can demonstrate most drills, techniques, exercises, and movements I expect my atheltes to do.I am a strength and conditioning coach so it is important that I "practice what I preach."
