When I Started:
May, 2007
How I Started:
Initially I started working out shortly after high school because the girls I worked with were always very active. I was on and off with my working out in the beginning because I got diagnosed with a stomach condition that made me sick and weak all the time. Finally, once I got that under control I started to get more into working out. I have always been attracted to fit toned body types and realized that I desperately wanted mine to be one. I knew/know it is going to be a huge challenge for me because I have full blown Scoliosis (curvature of the spine) so my body has a long road a head. Luckily, a trainer told me that he could help me build the muscle so that my back can look as close to normal as possible. Minus the scar from the operation of course. Right now I am taking it one day at a time and working more and more towards my goal.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it's an advantage for yourself in so many ways. It improves your health, confidence, energy, strength, happiness, physical appearance, and at the end of the day it's all for you.
How I Stay Motivated:
Haha, I actually stay motivated by reading about people on Bodyspace. Going through everyones progress pictures, goals, workouts, tips, reasons, and triumphs just helps me keep everything in check.
BB Accomplishments:
Well, it's not a Bodybuilding accomplishment but with eating healthy and taking care of myself I was able to get my stomach condition to go into remission....it's like a whole new world not having to take medication everyday :)

Progress Pictures

I want my body to get to a point where I don't look at my back as a huge flaw and I actually accept myself. I want to be able to say thank you after someone gives me a compliment instead of shooting myself down. I want to be proud of what I was given because I made it the best it could possibly be regardless of whatever obstacle I have.
Now, once I get there, I also hope everything else like toned defined arms, a six pack, great legs, and an absolutely breath taking heiney will be there too :)
I didn't realize how powerful the subconscious mind was until I heard something last weekend that made so much sense, and maybe some of you out there would agree with this. Our subconscious mind is like a Captain. Even though the Captain can't see it's destination directly infront of them,...

Happy 4th of July to you and everyone. Have a good one!
Man, I bet. Where'd you end up going? I'm doing good. Back down to 215, I was stuck at 220 for almost 3 months. Things in the gym are solid right now. Take care.
Good to hear from you, Terra! Good here. Just got back on track with my program. Still makin wood, sometimes hard to get to gym. Hope to clarify a new bench press program soon. Numbers have been kind of stagnant lately. (even when I can get to gym regularly)
Ah cool, what were you doing in Mexico then? No doubt you've got one hell of a tan :D! Yea I'm being a good boy, you know..;) and I'm getting back into training, not going heavy yet, gonna go lighter and faster with the weights to still eep my speed for sprinting, got a few races coming up in the 100 and 200m so will have to miss out on a little training but ah well...hows the work and things? I should probably PM you coz I nearly always end up writing you essays lol
Ha well not quite a brat, more or less arguing with a rep and then my friend logged on to his account on the same computer sop we both got banned for 'trolling' although we weren't. Ah well...how've you been since the last epic message? Hope you're good ;)
Sounds like a wonderful trip. I'm glad you had fun. I got back to the gym 2 days ago. I am sore all over. I think maybe that is what my body needed to shock my system. I have been working like a brute on my parents farm. But, I have enjoyed it. Hope you have had a great day. ttyl
