How I Started:
I decided that I am too young to be so out of shape and flabby. My 2008 goal was to jog 1.5 miles non-stop. I jogged for several months, but could not get close to my goal because of an old knee injury. That's when I decided to throw weights into the mix, bought my first muscle magazine and now I can't wait to see changes.
Why I Love It:
I love weight training even though I know I am doing it all wrong. I like how you can change your body in a mimimal amount of time (compared to just walking).
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at pictures of women with bodies I want.

I usually do not eat the Curry sauce you are speaking of. I use the Curry powder alot. Try that and see if it works better for you. (That sauce IS good though).

You are so welcome. Just keep at it. Think of working with a Personal Trainer so you can learn the proper way to use the equipment and maximize your potential. You don't have to stay with the trainer for eons, just long enough to get some knowledge and results under your belt. It's good you are on this website. I wish this exhisted when I first started out. Hey sweetie! Its 70% of what you eat and 30% of your workouts when you wanna lose weight, and to gain is the other way around! I will pm you right now and give you a diet that was given to me, and I swear by it! Plus there are cheat days, but only every other day, and you must follow it! Have a good weekend girl!
Ahh- I understand. You know I use to workout like 2 hours a day and I only lost 5 pounds in a month- got really toned but no pounds lost, until I changed my diet. Have you thought of the zone diet at all? My bf and I do that and it works wonders, it lets you eat freely and you really don't know you're on a diet. But if you want I will give you a diet I SWEAR by- I lost so much weight doing it. Hope all is well! Love ya!

Hey girl!! Yumm peanut butter, I love it! I'm slowly leaning away from the crunchy peanut butter with nuts in it..my favorite. My boyfriend and I are on the Zone Diet and it says no for peanuts! AHH, well I'm excited, I got 6 more days till my vacation!
