My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program
Split 4x per wk.
I workout on a split, 4 days a week in a row. Beside the fact I have no time with work, more work on the side and family duties, this is the only way I can put in some time in the gym and keep me motivated.
I plan a strategy which consist on working out muscle group that wont be weak the next day for my next work out.
On the 4th day, I like to use it for: Cardio and to test my body strength by challenging myself to do a number of rep on an excersise or do 1 set of a lift I want to improve. This is my best day at the gym, because I feel free to do what i want to do and it boost my motivation.
This is in no way a model that should be followed if your body does not respond well to the training, and I would rather anyone else to consult an professional trainer for several sessions in order to build a better foundation.

Lots of proteins, regular fats and moderate carbs
I stopped training over 3 yrs for medical reasons. On that period, I started eating like crazy, almost all the fast food big names are outside of my work, within a block or 2 radius. I put in the most weight I had in my entire life, over 40lbs. At first, I didn't realize how bad it was and I thought that I could go back to the gym and shed the weight, but that is when reality hit me. I realized that eating the same and working out would make me a bigger and not losing any body fat.
Now I am eating clean. Not to the point though, but at least I calculate my intakes day in day out. I still eat white rice, but in a smaller portions before and after my workout. I add lots of vegetables, and big pieces of meat to give me that full feeling which carbs can easily provide.
On my day offs, I just consume enough carbs to get me through the day, and take 1/3 cup of peanuts whenever I feel hunger coming before my eating time.
I also drink lots of water, like 2 cups per hours. Just my 8hrs at work, I drink a gallon.

Creatine and Protein supplement
I use Creatine and protein powder.
The creatine basically is to provide me with the extra strength to squeeze in an extra rep or two.
The Protein is to balance my meal intake, and make up for the amount of protein to build muscles.

To feel good while looking good.
At 28, my physique should be at it's operating prime, and the joints should always be lubricated not rusty and tired all the time.
