When I Started:
Jan, 2008
How I Started:
I looked in the mirror, the other day and was disgusted with the guy looking back at me! I now weigh 211 lbs. and feel like crap. All those reasons are why I'm lifting and running.
Why I Love It:
I love going to the gym. It's a great feeling to lift weights and go running. I use to play football and lift weights year round. Starting again, feels like I'm starting a new life. It wakes me up and gets me ready for the day!
How I Stay Motivated:
My motivation stretches out for miles. I won't list them all, but my brother(corrupt silence) got me back on this site. It's been a year, since I've visited my bodyspace profile. This time, I plan on sticking to it and joining a few competitions on this site. Another motivation, is so I don't feel lazy like I did, just 3 months ago! ;)
BB Accomplishments:
I set my high school record for Squats at 455lbs. They all say, "I have short legs, so it's easier for me!" I don't buy it. I fell in love with lifting and that got me my results!

What bicep workout has worked best for you?
Concentration Curls have helped my strength training by a long shot.
- Updated Dec 21, 2008 8:16pm

What tricep workout has worked best for you?
I do Dumbbell Skull Crushers. I had a problem with size and strength, so I use dumbbells instead of barbells, to force each Tri to do equal amount of work.

What calf workout has worked best for you?
I have neglected my calves. For now, I guess it would be the treadmill! LOL

I'm back up again. Was 262 last week. Down to 258. Want to hit the 230's by Thanksgiving, and then 215 by Christmas. A lot of work ahead of me. Or us for that matter.

LOL 'one too many drinks' is your caption? damn looks like 12 too many! Just kidding. Great you are shedding weight in this holiday season while the rest of us stuff our faces with chocolate. You play bass? My son is on drums and learning guitar a bit.

GOOD LUCK with your competition...just keep telling yourself that no one is working harder than you and you'll get through it.

Yeah, I noticed. I gained 3 lbs. as well as of Saturday morning, but I'm thinking a lot of it was water weight. So I'm not posting my official weight until Wednesday morning. It will also be my starting weight for the comp. Along with the dreaded pics. lol

Good progress pics. Don't try to get too small -- you really have great genetics for adding healthy bulk, don't you agree?
