I started to lose weight mainly. I start strict cardio only and in November of 2007 broke down and joined a gym. I've been hooked on the weights ever since and start seriously lifting in March of 2008. I am loving watching my body transform from a pudgy runner to having muscle tone.
Why I Love It:
Plain and simple I'm an endorphin junky and I love pushing my body to it's limits. I what to know what my breaking point is and what i'm capable of.
How I Stay Motivated:
I constantly train for something I keep something in the back of my mind to keep me going. I also keep a pair of pants in the front of my closet that are one size too small and I will fit into them!!
BB Accomplishments:
I managed to bench press 30lb dumb bells w/ flat bench. Managed 4 reps w/ flat bench and 6 rep w/ incline and decline.

I want to continue to drop bodyfat and transform my body into what it should be.
Goal (Long):
I get lean and fit enough to run a marathon and then we will see from there where my training takes me. I have fell in love with the weights and would love to do something with it. The marathon I'm wanting to run is in November of this year. I'm hoping I can get the body I need without having to have a tummy tuck!
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
You can switch in and out on equipment to help time your sets and sometimes having someone push you to get that last rep out in awesome and a spotting partner doesn't hurt either.

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
I think that if you need to grunt to get those last few reps in let em rip. It helps sometimes believe me. I've been known too!
I had previously blogged about family support and here I go again.
I am primarily a runner. I'm not that fast but I love to run. I started lifting to get my upper body in the awesome shape my legs were in from all the miles i've logged on them.
check out this website - www.lopersclub.org/ This is the running club that I joined when I did the LA Marathon in 2003. We met every sunday morning and ran (different groups based on your pace). It was great and the schedule of running really helped me stay on track. I plan to do a 1/2 next year and will be using their schedule to prepare. Take care.
My wife (bodyspace judimax) and I would love to see you make your fitness goals and dreams become reality. Judimax went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. Push yourself; possibly out of your comfort zone and you may be amazed at the results and the speed that they can occur. Let us know if we can be of assistance.
