How I Started:
In Highschool I worked in the daycare at a Golds Gym and started working out with weights for the first time there. Started out to improve strength and endurance for my cheerleading and gymnastics. years later... 2007 learned about competetive fitness,figure,& Bodybuilding and wanted to try something since I wasn't competing in gymnastics or cheerleading anymore. I chose to work for Figure and love it! I even crossed over into a new division in 2008 Ms. Fit Body and now have another interest! I want to continue competing in both divisions.
Why I Love It:
I love training hard and working for a goal. It is a great accomplishment to see your own progress and the "final product" of all that hard work.
How I Stay Motivated:
Working at Vitamin Shoppe and training others helps me stay on track with my own training. "Practice what you preach". Also, once you've caught the bug it never leaves you... I think I'll be competing for a lonnng time...
BB Accomplishments:
Placing 2nd in my division at the NYS Championships (my first show!!). One week later at the INBF Monster Mash I placed 3rd in my division. June 2008 competed in the INBF Hercules 6th in Figure and crossed over placing 5th in Ms. Fit Body. I also was featured in Muscle & Body Magazine February issue given out free at all Vitamin Shoppes!!! This past August one of my photo's from a fitness photoshoot was placed in the INBF NEWS section of Natural Body Building and Fitness Magazine the November issue!
