Background
First off I want to say if there are any creepers that are trying to hit on me please don't add me or talk to me. I have a loving, happy relationship with my boyfriend and I am on here for motivation, tips, and keeping track of my progress. During my teens I was 120lbs size 5. I felt good about myself. When I was 18 I ended up pregnant and miscarried. After I miscarried I gained close to 60lbs in about 8 months, i just ballooned and looked awful and I had no idea why. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid AND PCOS. I didn't really work out much after that, there was a point in my life I did try and lost about 20lbs but gained it all back. So struggling with weight issues, health issues, depression and self esteem issues I have finally decided to make a change. A friend at work showed me this site and I just went from there. I stopped eating sweets (chocolate and ice cream are my downfalls) and I started working out with my boyfriend at night weight lifting and during the day at lunch at work I do cardio. I am hoping to lose as much fat as humanly possible and gain as much muscle as humanly possible. I want my self esteem to come back.
I love cardio because I love how it gets my energy going. I love weight lifting because I see results and I feel results.

Italy in September. 30lb loss realistic?
Posted in Working Out : Feb 27, 2012 4:36amSo I pretty much quit the gym, ate like shit, gained weight, I am now over 170lbs with my underactive thyroid and PCOS.
I want to get back at the gym, I am going to start walking outside during lunch at work and maybe walking my dogs at night until I can start jogging with them...
I know diet is 70% and working out is the rest...
I am going to Italy in September and would love to be in the 140's.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to get there faster?
I still have all my supps from when I

Posted in Working Out : Sep 13, 2011 7:58amDoes anyone have any pointers on how to stay fit while being on a very low budget? The cost of supps and food is getting to be too expensive and wasn't sure if anyone had any ideas or tips on being able to eat 6 small meals a day and take your supps when your 24 and poor lol...not so much poor but i get paid every 2 weeks and do not have a lot of money left after paying bills, tolls, and putting gas in my car.
Any tips would be WONDERFUL!!!
Getting hit by a car hurts....even in the long run
Posted in Working Out : Sep 08, 2011 10:38amIn 1999 I was 13 walking home from a football game the night before thanksgiving. I was in a crosswalk and it was night time. I had light tan pants on a jacket and the road lit up from the football game and street lights.
One car let me go and I am not sure what happened next but all of a sudden I realize the other car is not stopping so I started to run but I wasn't fast enough because the guy was speeding and let's face it a car always wins vs. a pedestrian and BAM I get hit and the next thing I know I am laying on the ground trying to get up and I can't.
I spe
