One day I just decided enough was enough. My poor diet and lack of exercise was really starting to affect me. I felt horrible 24/7, and I only weighed about 105lbs. So I decided I would start going to the gym.
When I first began, I had no idea what I was doing. I was jumping from machine to machine, never even experiencing an adequate pump. Even though I had no clue what I was doing, the newbie gains kicked in. I couldn't get enough of that growing sensation. From there, I stumbled upon this website and began researching like a madman. That's where it all took off.
Why I Love It:
It feels great. It makes me feel like a better person. I love pushing myself. I love how the more pain I inflict upon myself in the gym, the more I grow. It's the ultimate test of focus and determination.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing that each and every day I become stronger than the last.

I always...ALWAYS stay within the 6-12 zone. Within that rep range, it all depends on which exercise it is. For example, I'm more likely to have a set of 6 during deadlifts than during skullcrushers.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
What I'm doing right now is sort of a variation of the CrossFit diet. I keep a 40% carbohydrate, 30% protein, and 30% fat intake. I make sure to get roughly 42g of protein, 54g of carbs, and 18g of fats at each meal. The foods I eat occasionally differ, but they're mainly composed of tuna, chicken breast, apples, bananas, pasta, rice, flax bread, and peanuts/peanut butter. What I'm doing right now is sort of a variation of the CrossFit diet. I had first begun working out last September, so this marks my one year anniversary. It's been a very good start. I've gained about 45 pounds this year, although a few of those can be attributed to natural growth. I wish I had started training like I do now back at the beginning. It wasn't until...
each class is about 2 hours , i have 1 class on monday and tuesday , 2 on satday and 3 on tuesday and thursday , with no gaps , so the only thing i get to do is eat a chocolate and if available maybe milk , but thats rarely because they dont sell it on campus so i have to go to a supermarket outside campus.
it mainly consists of tuna , pasta , and dairy products (Except for lunch ) . the thing is , i cant eat alot in the morning because i have college , and when i get home i have to make up for the meals ive skipped .
i tried getting a protein powder but the ON cost about 110$ for the 2 pounds which is 28 servings.that is ridiculous man,nitro-tech costs about 140$ and it has 64 servings, when i travel i will get a bag of supplements for that much money !,till then i will get the 1 pound . im saving to get some supplements, hopefully in 2 weeks i will have enough money to get as much supps as i want.i started a new diet which is kind of hard,i feel like vomiting all the time and im not even eating that much.
oh yeah man, alc slows it down by a lot. my friend doesnt get too far because he drinks. we started out the same size, he cant get any stronger or get any detail on him, but for me its the opposite.
my highest weight was 135 pounds, then when i traveled i lost some weight, i believe its muscle memory, i only gained 5 pounds over my highest weight, it doesn't show that i gained weight though. i think i will do that i hope they grow, im starting a new workout routine today hopefully it will work. the thing is, weight gainers have low number of servings, so im not sure if its worth it. i want to be 155 by February.
yah its nice... except I barely spend any because my parents made a deal with me: they'll but a 'family car' that will be more or less mine but I need to pay the insurance and once my brother gets his license, he'll pay for the insurance. So I need to earn $1100... I'm about half way tehre :D you're starting to look like a walking tank :)
hey man , things are going pretty good , i gained about 10 pounds this month , but only 5 pounds over my highest weight , im thinking of getting a weight gainer.i have been trying to figure out why my biceps wont grow ..but well i cant complain . how are things going with you ?with the school and all?.
its going great... I've been doin a lot of travelling with school so I'm happy... I have a job and dude you look really thick in your DP... it barely looks like you!
