I was an athelete in high school & college, so I've worked out on and off most of my life.
Once we had our son my time was dedicated to him and the wife, so my workouts pretty much went away.
Move forward some 30 years and I see a picture of myself from a hike we were on and I said to myself, I have to get back into the gym... So at 55 I started all over again.
Why I Love It:
It just makes you feel great, and seeing the results totally make the effort all worth it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm a very self motivating type of person, so staying motivated is not an issue for me.
BB Accomplishments:
In my first year of competitive body building I ran the board with placings from 4th to 1st. Winning at the Vancouver Natural was great & getting to go head to head in the overall was a real rush. But the 2nd place I just got at the WA. Ironman was best. I beat the competitors that had beaten me in the past, and came in the best yet. I was the best conditioned in my class, and had a good run at the win. I'll be better next year, and hopefully get the title then. But my main goal each time is to come in better than the last show, and try to bring the best package possible.

Consistancy is the Key.... Training, Diet & Cardio...
If you're a competitive bodybuilder & need music for your routine, please give my son's myspace a look see. You'll be impressed, and he does an awesome job working with you to create exactly what you want.

Incredable work Amy has done. I love showing her profile to many of my clients. Amy shows a woman can have a family ( a very large one ) work out to keep an incredable figure and work to achieve goals small and large. A true inspiration.
Lauren is amazing. She shows you CAN overcome....Fantastic work she has accomplished. A true inspiration to many. Another great avenue to send people to see what can be done with hard work and dedication.
NO I'm not talking about a move I just made on the dance floor, or the kind if you're single and are trying to pick up the ladies...I'm talking about NOT lean enough for the show. I did it, I knew it, but that was it, that was the way I was going in to this show.
Thanks Corky for the response and encouragement. Hit a plateau but that is just making me step up the workouts, get adequate rest and really watch the diet. You look incredible! Keep in touch. Rhonda
Hi,
Well, we all want to change somethings!
I'd like to get more muscle on my legs and arms and maybe drop some bodyfat.
You look in great shape.
Kelly
Thank you :)
I have to - since my device is "A better body with every passing year" :):) And as you know the opportunities of improving a better look do not diminish that rapidly...
I would appreciate and regard it as an honor if you would consider putting me on your “members that inspire list.” I am trying to work my way up the most inspirational ladder so that other amputees can feel motivated and inspired to work out. So many handicapped people feel as though they can’t get into shape and I want them to know that they can. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. I am sorry it took me so long to write you back. I got second place at my first comp and i loved it. Thanks again for the request. how's ur training going. YOur back is awesome!
I just dropped by to compliment you on your development and the dedication and determination it took to build it. You are a fantastic example of what can be done when someone decides to do it and you are doing it "naturally!." You are a great inspiration to so many others, myself included. Stay strong, focused and determined.
It's actually unseasonably warm here for this time of year...but I'm not complaining! And most definitely SMACK him good for me....yancy that is. lol
Looking good Corky! I'm having major muscle spasms/painful ones all over my body and blood test shows chemistry is perfect...any clues? Getting worse and effecting my workouts never mind my head! Weird....
