dude, good log clean and press today! Awesome job sticking that hvy single after missing it twice! I think yr new program will give u some good direction and allow u 2 b more efficient w/yr time in the gym, and life! And btw, u have abs...they're just hiding!! :)

Hey guys!! Hope yr training is heavy, intense, smart and injury free!! I will be posting some strongman training and contest info on the "strongman" group page if yr interested. Two shows for me this year-both went well. I will be doing a demo @ Oregon State Univ the end of Novemeber-COME CHECK IT OUT!!!

floor press is a bench press alternative and used to help increase yr "lockout" strength. the ability to press more wt at the top portion of the range of motion. good luck and train hard!

Marunde was ok...different venue, different day, different strongmen all added to a little different feel this year. I think those that were there to remember Jesse succeeded...howz yr training?

if you can, practice them as often as possible. figure out where you're losing yr time...what part are you spending the most time at? running from 1 to the next? walking while pressing it up? and remember, you never know what will happen the day of the show!!! GO FOR IT!!!

the Deadlift i'm doing in my profile pic is over 700lbs. I don't rememeber the exact amount. It was part of a DL medley. We did a 650+lb Axle DL, then this 1, then 2 more for time. This is at Venice Beach for Worlds Strongest Man Qualification.
