I'm tired of always being the skinny guy around campus, so I decided to gain some weight for the year.

Hey,
So it's been about a month or so since I got into the whole gym/ working out thing. I am starting to see some results. My arms look fuller and I am making pretty good strides when it comes to handling weight. I guess I'm just a little impatient though. I keep on wanting to have the bodies...
1. SQUAT- 10 DEEP BREATHS THROUGH THE NOSE INTO THE ABDOMEN AND THEN ONE REP-20 TOTAL
2. DIPS TO FAILURE-2 SETS
3. PULL UPS TO FAILURE- 2 SETS
4. RUSSIAN TWIST- 8X3 EACH SIDE
5. LUNGE WALK- ONE TIME AROUND THE TRACK (INSIDE)
Occasionally, I do Bench Press 5 x 5, but that's about it.

everythings going ok at the moment, i stopped trainin for abit though and the diet went out the window, but im back in the gyms again and the focus is there.

I appreciate your comments as well. LOL! Surprised folks know about my using mostly bodyweight exercises. Now if I can turn that into a new career, I'd be doing something! Hang in there and keep pushing!
Every coulple of days I try to have a high calorie/cheat meal. Mostly Chipotle Burritoes for me. I eat well no percent of the time and get somejunk in there about 10% or less. You need those extra claories to get bigger. You can only eat so much brown rice and oatmeal because they are so nutrient dense..
Things are well! I eat things like oatmeal, brown rice, sweet potatoes,baked chicked, sirloin steaks, ground beef, and turkey. I was making tacos with the brown rice tortillas before I hit this diet. I try to get the standard 2 grams of carbohydrateper lb of body weight or more, when not competing. That is the only way people like us can put on mass. Gotta hit the carbs up. I try to get about 1-1.5g of protein per lean body mass.
Man, I just got back consistent for the past week. My schedule is pretty weird but its supposed to go like WedThur - SaSu with the days in between being rest and cardio days.
You're going to wait until after Christmas to start back? Eh, I'd say don't do that and just try to get it in however you can. You're not going to want to start back after christmas. Less torture as well.
