How I Started:
My boyfriend got me into going to the gym, because my thyroid disease was taking a toll and i was depressed. I havent lost any weight yet, but i have gained muscle.
Why I Love It:
While I havent lost the weight I wanted yet, working out gives me so much more energy (which my thyroid disease also takes away) and it allows my boyfriend and I to hang out doing something healthy together. We motivate each other
How I Stay Motivated:
Mosltly my boyfriend,
but also knowing that I feel better and that if I stop I will GAIN weight. Id rather stay healthy and maintain my weight than to gain more

I had this up in the beginning but it was so depressing it only lasted a day I was 163 lbs
I still have a lot of work to do, the love handles are a bitch!! but I'm proud! Also I have scars along my sides which indent my skin... they cause ripples =( But hey with out the scars I'd be dead! always a bright side =)

Goal (Long):
I have a thyroid disease and I have been trying very hard to lose weight. I have never felt comfortable in my own skin. I dont even like getting changed in front of my boyfriend. I want desperately to like myself!! I would love to be in a bathing suit by this summer!
I need to lose belly fat, but its mostly my back fat and love handles that make up my waist. I want to tone up my arms and butt as well. I have muscular legs but I could always make them better as well. I would love to loose some more fat in my thighs.
So, Havent been on in a while, I graduated May 1 from massage school! and im in the midst of moving so things are hectic!!! But, since My last entry I lost 9 more pounds! over all thats 18 lbs in a lil less than 2 months! So I'm pretty proud of myself. I plan on losing even more! I have to stray...

Amazing progress! Oh, and congrats on completing massage school. Remember to keep practicing while you wait for the FL massage board to slowly crank out your license :) Sucks to go from 0 massages a day to a job where they want you to do 4-8
