Started lifting my freshman year of high school for hockey, and just haven’t' given it up since. I had great trainers in my high school who really pushed us and always emphasized good form. I let my weight go when I was in the middle of college but when I started to see stretch marks on my stomach when I was around 260lbs I made the decision to pull my shit together. It's been a great learning experience and something to show that anyone can do it. You just have to work hard, stay dedicated and consistent. Always keep your eye on your future goal and use your past as motivation.
Why I Love It:
Being able to do something that so few can. Natural Bodybuilding is by far the most difficult sport I have ever competed in. It is the sport where you are the owner, coach, and player all at the same time. When you fail there is no one to blame but yourself. But when you succeed you get the satisfaction of knowing that you got there from all of your hard work and didn't have to cheat to get there.
How I Stay Motivated:
Look at pictures from when I weighed 260lbs
