Workout Program:
On 1/20/09, I began the 3rd wk (phase 1) of Tony Horton's "P90X" program. 9 wks to go after this one! I am soooo in love w/ this program b/c it really challenges you. The first 3 wks of each phase consists of 6 days of workouts. 3 strength training/abs & 3 cardio. The 4th is a "recovery" week. You still workout, but there's no lifting weights. Not too sure I care for the ab workout so I might just do my own during phase 2. I also HATE yoga so I only do 5 workouts a wk & I plan to do bellydancing as the 6th. Last fall I could barely do more than 2 pushups. As of today, I can do 13 (and these are not "girly" pushups)! I am very proud of myself! BUT I'm also very inpatient so when I don't immediately see results I get frustrated, but I'm sticking with it!
