I wanted to be better at sports, so I started working out. From there, my sister introduced me to Flex magazine, and from there I have been hooked ever since.
Why I Love It:
The combination of pain and success from breaking barriers and being able to reshape yourself the way you see fit without thinking you have to revert to surgery.
How I Stay Motivated:
Anger, pain, and loud music
BB Accomplishments:
I reached 225lbs. in 2004, just before sustaining a major knee injury that set me back for quite a while.
After tearing my patellar tendon in 2004, I was walking 3 weeks after surgery, had full mobility after 7, and I was back in the gym after 10. Today I don't walk with a limp and I recently timed my 40 yd. dash with the football players I coach (4.4 seconds).
