I've always been an avid reader of magazines about muscle and fitness but I've never went after it seriously for myself. I've made the same new years resolution every year, just to give up about 2 weeks into the year. I decided that i'm tired of that and i'm going to give this everything I have, this year and for the rest of my life.
Why I Love It:
I love feeling sore after a really good workout and watching my body change as the weeks pass.
How I Stay Motivated:
Reading muscle and fitness magazines, buying new clothes (in smaller sizes!), looking at progress pictures
BB Accomplishments:
Running 2 5Ks!

I want to be strong. I want to be proud of my body instead of hiding behind false confidence. I'm tired of settling and i'm ready to go all out! I know how it feels to be doing "alright" in my exercise and eating habits, it's time to be exceptional.
I find this member inspirational because she went after her goals and is achieving them everyday. She inspires me to get back in shape...after I get this baby out lol

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Take the occassional time off to rest and reassess goals. Also, being a bodyspace member and staying connected with others who are pursuing the same kind of lifestyle helps.
I've been doing a google search on this foot problem i've been having and have come up with dozens of possible causes. My weekly long run is up to 8 miles and every week, the morning after my longest run, the ball of my right foot is swollen...to the point where it's painful to walk....
Just dropping in on to see how you are doing. I hope that all is well in life and in your training. I agree that in you last progress pic you are looking cute. (Lol) Take care of yourself and keep in touch.
