How I Started:
I saw a picture of myself when I was 16 years old. At that time I weighed close to 300 pounds...and it showed. I made a commitment that I would lose weight and 10 years later (despite a few weight fluctuations), I've been able to maintain that commitment.
Why I Love It:
There are so many benefits you get from taking care of your body. Currently, I love that it greatly improves my physical and mental well-being. It also gets you really attuned to your body on so many levels.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have really supportive friends and family, and they help keep me motivated...when they're not tempting me to drink and eat crap that is.
Currently, knowing I'll be posting pics on this site is a great motivator! And a lot of the best-looking people on this site are 40 or older, which confirms my suspicion that YOU decide when your own prime is.
BB Accomplishments:
1. People asking me if I compete.
2. Recently being asked to strip at a bachelorette party.
3. When the ladies ask me to take off my shirt when I'm bartending.
Of course I refuse the last 2 requests--I'm way too bashful for that kind of crap. Really. No...seriously. Hey, screw you!

Getting back into it after gorging in the States and drinking every weekend for about 2 months!
Get leaner while developing a bigger chest and back.
Goal (Long):
I want a bigger chest and back so that means a year or more of heavy lifting and trying a lot of different techniques until I get there.
I wouldn't mind looking like one of those stylized drawings of Superman or Batman from the Justice League cartoons (the ones with the ridiculous shoulder-to-waist ratio). Yeah, that would be pretty sweet...though it might actually make it impossible to stand and/or walk.
Hi training is just getting going again, had a family holiday with a bit of slacking and lots of eating!!! gained about 3lbs but hey, need to enjoy life sometimes!
Just finished quads today. Feel the Burn! How's it going? Has the whole country gone bonkers over the Olympics or is that just for the people in and around Beijing? Holla.
Appreciate the updates. Everytime I train legs, (I'm up to twice a week), I visualize your quads, especially when I do lunges. I hate them and you. Thanks for the advice. I'm up to 194 now and I think the increase in leg training is paying off. Holla.
Man, Dark Knight was SICK!!! Funny thing was I wanted to train so bad from watching the movie.....since Christian Bale was so badass, I wanted to go hit some arms and shoulders haha
