Overall Goal: Cutting right now, trying to get my bf% down to 12. During Jan & Feb I worked my leags hard, this coupled with keeping carbs low helped me drop BF from 18 to 15%. During Mar and Apr I will be hitting my chest and back hard.
Fit Status:
Lent....As part of my lenten sacrifice, I will be not adding any salt to my food. Hoping to reduce bp from 112/82 and to also reduce bf.
Just started lifting weights so that I could be stronger and stay healthy
Why I Love It:
The results are rewarding. Also like being strong. I have an awesome wife and eight great kids. I want to stay strong and healthy for them as well as for myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
I now stay motivated by logging into BB.com. This site really helps me to track my progress as well as get ideas for working through plateaus.

Goal (Long):
I want to reduce my body fat and increase definition.
My goal is to have 17.5" arms, 25" quads, a 47" chest,52" shoulders and a 31" waist by the summer. I would also like to decrease my bodyfat to 12%.
It's been a few weeks. I weighed myself yesterday and I was at 170 lbs and 19% bf. My weight is dropping pretty fast, I just hope that my bf does as well. I am eating pretty light but still getting plenty of protein. I am also doing some pretty intense cardio.
Thank you for the add. I hope you can drop me a line occasionally for encouragement and any ideas you have. I would like to be able to ask you for pointers and/or ideas to progress. If that is OK with you? I hope to be an encouragement to you also. Thanks again and stay strong.
still cutting? i'm still in a c phase. proegress is slow, but i'm out of my hand cast, so the limitations are no longer. can't wait to get back into the swing and start hitting it hard.

Great pic here.Thanks for the note! Since I posted I fell in love....with a machine called "absolo" so I imagine one will be able to light a match off my abs come July, ha ha Hows that "hitting my chest and back hard" coming along?
As a LMT I have to throw in a plug to receive massage for the back and chest, help release tied up toxins in the muscle fibers, as you most likely know, the cleaner the easier the growth :-)
