How I Started:
WELL I WAS TIRED OF BEING NASTY AND INSECURE IN MY OWN SKIN. SO WHEN MY HUSBAND LEFT FOR IRAQ IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR I DECIDED HE WAS GOING TO COME HOME TO A NEW AND IMPROVED ME!
Why I Love It:
I LOVE THE SWEAT. I KNOW IT'S CRAZY... IM ADDICTED TO THE SWEAT! WHEN I SWEAT I KNOW IM WORKIN HARD. AND IM ALSO ADDICTED TO THE AMOUNT OF ENERGY I NOW HAVE AND HOW THE CLOTHES GET BIGGER AND I GET SMALLER. ALSO THE ONE THING THAT I LOVE IS THE WAY MY MAN LOOKS AT THE NEW MOTIVATED ME!
How I Stay Motivated:
WHEN I JUST DONT WANT TO GO TO THE GYM AND I WOULD RATHER SIT AT HOME AND BE LAZY ON THE COUCH. I LEAN ON MY HUSBAND FOR SUPPORT. HE CAN MOTIVATED ME JUST BY SAYING.. "IT TAKES DEDICATION BABE PLEASE GO WITH ME". AND I SAY.. "FINE I'LL GO" AND THEN ONCE IM THERE IM HAPPY I WENT AND I FEEL GOOD AND IM BACK INTO MY GROOVE!
BB Accomplishments:
WELL MAYBE NOT MY MUSCLES EXCEPT FOR MY LEGS. THEY LOOK PRETTY GOOD. BUT MY BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT IS GOING FROM A SIZE 15 IN JEANS TO A SIZE 10. WOOOHOO BABY... BRING ON THE 5 AND 7'S.

Goal (Long):
All my life I have struggled with my appearence and I am sick of it. I am married to a Marine who is into fitness and weight training. At first I wanted to get in to fitness to have something to have in common with him. But then I realised that I needed to want it for myself. Not for him. So when he left in April 07' I started to slowly transform my bad habbits. I joined a boxing club and lost about 27 lbs before he got home. I also went from 38% body fat to 32% body fat. But since he came home in November I gained 5 lbs. back and feel like crap. So I am getting back on the waggon again but this time it is for the long haul. I am at 170 lbs. right now a size 10. My goal is to be between 132 and 135 by the summer of 2008 to wear my first bikini and feel damn good about myself. I also want to be about 24% body fat. So here it goes. Wish me luck!
It is great that you are working to get fit. Always believe in yourself and challenge yourself to be the best that you can be. Combine a good nutrition plan with some form of cardio and weight lifting and you will be amazed at the changes and the speed at which they can occur. I did the Body for Life program, which is for a total of 12 weeks and received amazing results. You may want to give it a look-see. Let me know if there is anything that I can do.
