I have always been into martial arts and I am a U.S. Army war Veteran so being active has always been a part of my life. Now I am a Muay Thai fighter and working out helps to give me stamina in the ring.
Why I Love It:
It really helps out my martial arts and it is a good way to release stress and aggression.
How I Stay Motivated:
Longevity in life! Being fit is truely the secert fountain of youth!! I want to be in shape to play with my future kids when I am older. Also, it REALLY helps my martial arts !
BB Accomplishments:
To lose as much body fat as possiable without gaining much size.
To have the least amount of body fat as possiable.
Goal (Long):
I dont have a set goal; to me that would be a limitation. Every day I strive to me the best that I can be!
I like the old school Army saying " Be all that you can be!!"
HOOOAHH!!!!
Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?

What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Muay Thai - but the is a martial art.
Running (with sprints)and swimming.
Running with sprints burns quite a bit of calories.Swimmoing burns alot of calories , but is easy on the joints.
I hate power walking and cylcing (unless you are doing it as a rehab excersise) because it takes to long to burn a signifate amount of calories.Muay Thai - but the is a martial art.

Trained upper body today and I feel great! I looked in the mirror this morning and my abs are almost back. I say about 2 weeks and I should be good. I am trying to change things up alittle bit. More reps of lighter weights and burns outs , I want all the muscle , but not all the size.
I train twice a day , once in the morning and once at night, five days a week and once on Satudays. I do not believe that there is one wat to work out, I believe that working your body in as many different ways as possiable is the best (for ex. some agrue weather , free weights or machines...
what would some of the take downs you used be classified as? it looked a little like jitsu, but i am new to the whole mma scene so im not sure. i was thinking i would like to start off with jiu jitsu and kick boxing. those are the two i am in favor of at the moment. like i said i am in no physical condition yet though. i shud still lighten up.
awww man. i see what you mean. that thai fighter was rockin it and just lettin the other guy swing. totally calculated and totally in control. i hope i can train myself to be that in control. do you only do muay thai or is there another martial art to ur list?
thanks man. i thought a lot about the cat thing you said too and i was watching ufc, it looks like a lot of them could use ur advise. lol. i know its harder when ur actually in the ring, but some of them were screwing up left and right.
yea ur right. i have seen them fight like that. i kind of figured it was a bad thing to get mad. its just the first thought that comes to mind when i get mad. how do you train? i know heavy bag and all that stuff, but any special agility training or anything like that?
alright, well, when your fighting, how do u not get mad? cuz i know if someone hit me, im gonna be pist. but i want to start learning martial arts, so i need to learn to control that.
