Dude, is there a post or anything that says how you've done it? I'm about the same size as you were starting I just saw your post on the transformation thread. Thanks man
had to make you a friend so I can read up on your stuff, Im tall too and you are good inspiration! What workouts have been good to you! I'd like to look how you looked in the jun pic.
Yea, I know. We had some very rocky starts and could not finish. But we won, and reight now, I will take a win any way, at the rate we been playing.
Thanks for add.
Try to build up every week, as in, have your speed workouts/shorter workouts (3-5 miles) be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and then the longer runs (5-10 miles) be Thursday and Friday runs, so you have time to recover on the weekend after your longer runs.
This is a really basic running plan, but if you need something more specific, just let me know.
For 5Ks, you probably need about 1 month of hard training to get back into shape, if you've been a runner for life.
If you're new to running, then I'd say you need to run about 5 days/week, and mix in both longer runs with shorter speed runs. Since you're not really competitive or anything, if you probably average about 25-30 miles of decent paced running a week for a month or so, you should see a significant drop in your time.
Going to need to do some training beforehand. Did you do any long-distance, aerobic training before those races? That helps. A lot. Without training, unless you're in crazy running shape, you're not going to do to well.
Yeah, been taking dextrose + whey post workout.
What about pre-workout?
I always feel no energy while workout out, so thinking to take a pre-workout supplement. What do u think?
