How I Started:
I always worked out. I was active when I was younger until I went to college. College took over and I didn't workout or play sports as much but after I went back to the gym. It was hard but what helped was that I was a model and had to keep my body toned.
Why I Love It:
Now I do it because its my hobby and gives me something to be proud of.
How I Stay Motivated:
I bring my non-gym friends with me. Anytime I hear them complain about their body and stuff I drag them to a class or something with me. Me helping motivate them helps keep me motivated.

Don't plan on competing.

I've always been thin which people automatically assume I'm in shape. Granted, I do workout but I could always be better. Before I use to workout just to maintain. I've always ate healthy due to my mom being sick with Leukemia when I was 8 and my dad maintaining our diets while raising us on his own after she died. Now I live in Miami and I feel like I need something to do in my spare time since I don't date and I don't want to sit around the house all day bored. I figured maybe I should take my workouts to the next level. Maybe I should actually make my goals bigger instead of just to maintain.
So my goal for this year is to tighten up my whole body and build some muscle in my arms (they're puney! lol). Also, I have always wanted to improve my flexibility. I've always loved how people can do a regular forward bend with no strain. I have a very hard time doig a forward bend while standing up and touching the floor with my hands without straining.

Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
B/c they see me as their motivation. Honestly, it doesn't really benefit me except for knowing that I'm helping someone. I like helping people. I went to South Beach the other day with my friend to hang out. As we were passing by all of the boutiques, he kept pointing out clothes that he thought I would look good in. The outfits were skimpy and tight. Typical South Beach style. I mean, I know I can pull of those...
