I started working out on and off since high school, but never committed myself to getting in the best shape of my life until now.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it's amazing how your body will adapt to whatever you demand of it and transform before you even have a chance to notice it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by viewing success stories on this site and in magazines.
BB Accomplishments:
Nothing major just yet, but I'm headed in the right direction!
173 lbs. My new regimen starts next week so we'll see what happens....I'm expecting to make some headway with it...I think I may do a weekly log if I can figure out how, lol
My fitness goal is to lose 30 more lbs and be no more than 10% body fat so I will be able to compete in a competition and win!
Goal (Long):
Specifically I'd like to lose 30 lbs and decrease my body fat percentage to no more than 10%. I would also like to achieve more defined muscle tone while increasing my strength and cardiovascular endurance. My sons will be 16 and 14 this summer and I want to prove to them that you can be in excellent shape no matter what age you are!

I like having a workout partner because they hold you accountable for showing up and if they're good, they push you harder. There are lots of reasons why I like the liquid, but the best reason is that I HAAATE the taste of powder protein...Ugh!
I dropped by to wish you all the best and to say that my wife and I know where you are coming from and believe that you will make your fitness dreams come true. We followed Body for Life, which is a 12 week body transformation program. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 in those 12 weeks and I lost over 50 lb in the same time period. Lol I know I had what my friends call an "Evil Lisa" moment. There is some mean spirited bragging I've seen on here which annoys me to no end. I'm like chick the pics suck and you paid to take 'em. That is NOT modeling that's getting your pic taken.
Lol fight it and once our body rids itself of it's processed food cravings it won't be so bad. But yeah get you a lot of free foods and they don't all taste like ass either lol. I love Sharkies, at Target in the supplement section. taste better than fruit snacks. Nuts. Peanut butter. Oh and discover Walden's Farm products you will be in luv!
Or have some carb free calorie free soda if you have to have something sweet. You can even freeze some crystal light into ice pops. But you will NOT use fat burners lol or appetite suppressents. You don't need that lil mama. Those should only be used if a person is severly obese and the pros outweigh the cons.
No ya don't lady-bug. That stuff will kill you or really mess up your liver. Seen all the recals the last few months? Get you some nuts to keep by your bed. Only one serving. Or make some natty butter cups with cocoa powder and splenda-tastes just like reeses!
