When I Started:
Jun, 1996
How I Started:
Currently 34 years old, 6'1" and 200 lbs.with a little bit of fur to cover up the cuts. Let me tell you how I got started.Well I was always a skinny kid growing up and once I hit 21 and stopped smoking I gained about five lbs. right off the bat. Now at 135 lbs. (yea yea I know) I thought it's time to get serious about gaining weight. Within my first year and a half I made my way to 201 lbs. Granted I gained a lot of fat it was still great progress.
Why I Love It:
I love being sexy and having one up on the average guy. Also it allows me to take my frustrations out on something besides co-workers, bf, or gf when they piss me off. Going postal is not always best but it sure as heck would feel nice to do it one day LOL.
How I Stay Motivated:
I guess I am like every other man in the gym being that I am not always motivated and sometimes need a push or at least a break. What gets to me most are the guys that have lifted less than a year and are already juicing. Being an all natural bodybuilder I hate it when they blow right by me. Then in the months to come they usually fade away because they have taught themselves that it can't be done without it. Now don't get me wrong I am not against the juice but using it within the first 3 months of lifting is something that even the pros should say is not a good idea.
BB Accomplishments:
I competed for the first and only time in 2005 and took 3rd in the NPC Juniors middle weight class. Should have done Novice but I kind of got talked into stepping up a class by a friend which I now regret. I feel I would have squashed everyone in the Novice.

I want to maintain a lean physique of 220 lbs. to 230 lbs. I think that is the perfect all around size for someone my height. I can carry this weight well and still do my everyday job. Although Jay, Ronnie, and the other pros look good I do not think they would do well in a set of full turnout gear crawling around the floor of a 1,000 degree house.
Hey guys I am just introducing a website that we will soon be trying to build. This will be a great opportunity for guys and girls that would love to show off their body and also get some great video footage of themselves in the gym. What the site will offer will be models, workout...
damn that is an awesome idea! Could you please do me a favor and have a section on the site for the over 45+ builder. we are the forgotten set of builders and we are out there in numbers. We have to compete against you young guys and beed to be seen and heard as well.
Thanks for the motivation... it made the difference..I finished my course with a over-all weight loss down to 240lbs. Now I just have to work on the body fat dropping. I want to get to 12%, going fo the gold now and deicating some serious time to it too. Take care and Semper Fi!
Hey Chad! Long time no see! Looks like you're staying in great shape. Keep up the good work, man and you'll have an impressive physique well into your 40s-50s.

Really watching the diet and what I put into myself..have a great week and take care...Motivate and Semper Fidelis!
