Health has been something incredibly important to me my entire life. I've lived a very active life playing soccer for 18 years, mountain biking for the past 4 years, and doing kickboxing and jujitsu among many other things. However, the motivation to start working out and really getting in shape came in middle school. Know how there always seems to be that one kid that everyone picks on? I was him. I wanted to have the peace of mind and confidence that comes with being in shape. I wanted to be able to hold my own if I ever got in a fight. Having the confidence of knowing that you can hold your own is a great feeling. I've never been the biggest guy out there but I've never had anyone NOT be suprised at the strength hidden in this skinny white boy's frame. :)
Why I Love It:
There's a confidence and an incredible natural high that comes from working out and just being in shape. I sleep better and have a more positive outlook on life when I stay in shape.
How I Stay Motivated:
For me, it's simply a matter of self-motivation. My family is in shape, but not like myself. I don't really have any friends that are as into this as myself. So it's just the inner drive to be better and stay in shape. I guess that compliments always help too. :)
BB Accomplishments:
My first was breaking the 12 minute 2-mile run mark for the first time back in high school.
I recently reached 150+ pushups in a 2 minute period. :) I've always wanted to do that.
YAY for warm weather!!!:) It's not so warm here in stupid stupid OR..it was raining last night..:( I hate our spring break being in March because its never nice weather.. oh well..lucky for me the gym has a roof;) LOL:)
Well that is kinda confusing, because like i put in a number and how many reps i did..and then that thing like added more weight? So im kinda confused, the 1rep calculator?? Whatever lol I guess it just makes me look really badass
I know right?,i agree completly. No offense, but is like everybody is a fat ass and they don't care.matter of fact everywhere i go,even work, they always telling me that i need to eat more....whaaaaaaatt?do i can look like ya'll,hahahha,no way.
