I was into body building in high school, but ate like crap. Back then, my trainer told me to eat lots of bad carbs and other things to gain bulk. Well, I'm almost 31 now and that same diet just doesn't cut it. I need something that actually works for my age.
Why I Love It:
I love it for a few reasons. First and foremost, it's about health, wellness and longevity. I am extroverted and making people do double-takes is always fun. :)

The weights and machines don't do themselves, LOL.

Right now, I weigh 150lbs and wish to get down to 140 or 135lbs. I want to lose fat and gain muscle. I have hit a plateau lately and hope this site can get me over it. I would like to have defined arms and a more toned stomach. The areas in the back of my arms I am having the most difficulty in. I don't want to resort to lipo. I would rather work my way to goals. Also, I would like to lose the little pooch I have on my lower stomach. Ever since I had hip surgery (car accident), I developed this pooch and I'm sick of having it. Doing the same things I was before (diet and exercise) isn't getting rid if it. Bottom line, I would like to have that competitor look (where you can see the muscle striations) without actually competing.

Right now, I am doing cardio three days a week and weights twice a week. I bike 20 miles three times a week and then to an upper body weight and a lower weight work out once a week.
