How I Started:
I wanted to improve my physique and tone up. I have an aunt is pretty obsessed with staying in shape and she's a great role model for me. She definitely encourages and motivates.
Why I Love It:
It's fun, interesting and I love seeing the results and feeling the burn. I'm fascinated when I see what healthy dieting and exercise can do for a person's body. The phrase "Different strokes for different folks" come to mind when I realize that everything isn't for everybody and a person has to learn by trial and error to see what works best for them.
How I Stay Motivated:
Though being a college student with limited finances and attending a college without an on-campus gym has been a bit tough, it's a new year and I definitely have to find alternate ways to workout daily. No matter what it takes, I have to do what's necessary to improve my physique. I'm still young so this is the point in my life where it'll be easier to get the results as long as I put forth the work. To stay mmotivated, I picture what I want my ideal body to look like. Once I feel like I can't go anymore, I say to myself "Are you really going to stop now? Just think about how great the outcome will be if you just press on a little longer." I love the anatomy of a female's body and I feel like I'll get out of it what I put into it.

Growing up with an obese family on both sides and in a single parent home, my self-esteem wasn't always high. There was always a part of my body that I wanted to improve. I've tried my best to stay away from unhealthy eating habits and do what I could to stay fit but the resources were limited. Now that I'm somewhat "on my own", I feel like it's up to me to do what's necessary to make the changes I want to see. Settling is no longer an option and though I don't see it necessary to lose weight, I do want to tone up all over. Like everyone else, the biggest goal is to get my abs firm, flat and noticeable. Within the next three months, I'm looking forward to seeing extreme changes all over! I can do this!!!
Why I like this video: This guy weighs 235 lbs which is a really nice size for someone standing 6'6". So, the fact that he's so determined to lift past his body weight amazes me. As you can see in the video, he lifts up to 315 lbs. Maybe it's just me but I think that's HOT!...LOL! Also, the slow motion effect and the dramatic music makes the video so much more interesting.
I don't mind training hard, eating healthy, and doing all that I can to make sure that I have the body that I want. The only thing about this Wonderful World of Fitness is that I don't agree with achieving these goals in an unnatural way. Don't get me wrong, I'm not speaking against people...

Man it has been going really good or had been until i got my wisdom teeth taken out last week. I havent been able to work out or anything solid for a week and i know i have lost a lot of muscle. Its a setback but its nothing i cant get control of once im well.
No need to take offense to what i said. I was just trying to inquire about what exactly you were going to be doing to get to your goals and seeing if i could add anything to better ensure that you reach your goals.
