Overall Goal: My main goal is simply to stick with it. I have a history of start / stop training which gets disheartening after while.

When I Started:
Feb, 2007
How I Started:
I used to do a lot of running but that tends to get a bit boring and you don't get any visible results. I want to start bodybuilding to get stronger and fitter.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy the exercise and the fact that you can quickly get visible / measurable results.
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't! This is why I've registered here. I've always trained for a couple of months then stopped and let it all slide so I seem to spend all my time catching up to where I last was before I stopped! I want to get and stay motivated for the long haul. My own 5-year plan!
Going to start training again tomorrow. 4 weeks after my inguinal hernia repair. Hope it all goes well! Planning on just doing what I would normally do as a warm up, so hopefully it wont be too stressful.
