Well, been working out since H.S. Never really saw much improvement til recently. I joined the army at a whopping 150 lbs. at a height of 6'3". Awesome huh.
Why I Love It:
I love to see the improvement in my body and the feeling I get after a workout. Also to improve on my lacking areas.
How I Stay Motivated:
To be honest, I don't want to end up the old guy who is fat. Being fat does not run in my family, but that is the reason.
BB Accomplishments:
Well, I've improved my bench press to almost three hundred. I want to make sure that I can keep up with my soldiers and stay looking young. Self conscious, I know.

Goal (Long):
Lately, with everyone thats been going on in my life I have been slacking. The motivation has been hard for me to find lately. I want to gain the muscle mass back but maintain the tone. I need to work on my diet also. I have been indulging in fattening foods too often and drinking way too much BEER!!! My legs have always been horrible and I need to improve them dramatically. I'm back on the ball once again and don't need to stop.
What is your favorite "healthy" dessert? Give the recipe if applicable.
Definitely fruit salad. Instead of sugar, we use a light coating of sweet and low. That gives it a semi-sweet flavor, and a little bit of juice. I could eat a good sized bowl myself. Very good.

What are your secrets for making healthy food taste great?
Well, my wife and I always use the low fat stuff. We count a lot of calories also. All the time. We have researched what is the best low fat ingredients to use and do pretty well at it. In Louisiana, where I live, they have some stuff called Tony Chacheres. It's really good. Just sprinkle it on your food during cooking, and your good to go. Obviously, don't put it on everything. Where do you find healthy recipes to try?
I get on a website called recipes.com. They rate all the recipes by everything. Calorie count, how it tastes, the whole nine yards. I also look at everything and try to choose them with certain ingredients. I prefer my foods a little spicy, so I'm kind of picky. Lately, I've been liking cajun foods more and more. During the year, I printed off a bunch while overseas, and going to learn how to cook them. Let's see how much I can burn them. Hahahahahaha. J/K. I'm back again. I've been stateside for almost 2 weeks but finally got the internet. I've missed this website. Wondering how everyone is doing. I have been going to the gym everyday and upped my calorie intake with protein intake also. I can finally actually eat six meals...

Man...how are you doing? Chicago was great... now I'm packing and my wife and I are off for a drive to Jacksonville and then to Vegas....
I have not really pushed myself working out at all... sort of sad... just focusing on moving and moving to my new duty station...

hope the sleep is better! Weahter still wicked cold here! tons of snow on the ground and ice everywhere else! Spring can not come fast enough! headed to Bermuda in May...thats what i got to keep me happy till then. that and my lifting!
