When I Started:
Jan, 2009
How I Started:
I was really tired of feeling tired all the time and I really felt like I was trapped in my body. I wanted to be active and move and enjoy life but I felt that my body was preventing me from doing it. So I decided to change things around.
Why I Love It:
Haha! Some look at me with a puzzled look when I say this but those who train know what I mean... it just makes me happy and makes me feel good! Nothing better than a good workout!
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't really know, I think it's to prove to myself I can do this... and also I feel so good working out and looking good!
Also I was in a big car crash on Feb 4th 2009, totalled my car. Winter driving in Montreal can be tricky and I lost control on ice and my car was launched off the road and flipped over a few times in a field before landing on it's wheels... Believe it or not, I walked out of there to call 911 myself and without a single scratch. So now, when I find it tough or when I think I can't do more... I just think about that accident and I remember that life is too short and too precious to waste on whining and being lazy. ;)
BB Accomplishments:
Not sure I accomplished anything yet... I did lose a lot of weight but I still feel that I haven't really started to work all that much. It's all been easy up until now... but I'm working on that last bit of fat and building up the muscle underneath... will probably have something interesting to share here in the near future ;)

This was taken on a cruise at the end of 2007. I don't have pics that give a good idea of what I looked like when I started to workout in January 2009, but I promise I was pretty much the same, different haircut but fairly the same size, I wasn't very far from the 200lbs if not over... on that pic. ...
Ok so is there any progress what so ever??? I FEEL the abs under the belly fat getting tighter but man I am busting my ass in the gym and the fat is going down everywhere but there! Anyway in time I will win the battle! mwahaha!
I want to compete, to push my limits and maybe help motivate a few people along the way.
Goal (Long):
I want to push my body to it's most extreme limits, if it has any. I've always been more of a brain person, but now that I have faced many intellectual and professional challenges I want to use all this knowledge I have an take on the physical one. I want to see how far I can get and I want to compete. This is my new challenge, be healty, be fit and be the best!

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I'm still not sure what it was but I got a very sharp pain in my right thigh and was unable to put any strain or even stretch it fully for about a week.

Why I like this video: WOW! Blows me away to see this kind of will power! I was in a similar car accident, but my car rolled over a few times in about 2 feet of snow... so it "softened" the landing if I can say so. I got out without even a scratch, shaken but not injured. This is just gonna make me work harder because I CAN.

Why I like this video: This is not bad... a bit cheesy and cliche but it's pretty much true.

I hope you all had a great weekend! I thought it would be fun to give those of you who have read my last posts a little update. So since last Tuesday, Aug. 25th, I have been at the gym only once! Very tough for me, I'm addicted to the gym, I admit it... LOL! But I did my...
