I was in the process of getting dumped by an ex-boyfriend and feeling pretty crappy. I realized I HAD to do something about the weight I had gained over the few months I was seeing him. It started as a 'I'll show him' and ended up as a 'Wow, I look and feel amazing!'
Why I Love It:
It's always a challenge to see how many reps I can pump out on my max weight.
How I Stay Motivated:
How do I stay motivated? Knowing that I turn heads when I'm out in public:)
BB Accomplishments:
I haven't weighed this much (or less, lol) since my early twenties.
I recently was able to lift my heaviest in the Arnold Press, 80 lbs for 5 reps and 110 lbs for 5 reps for DB Press, walking DB lunges with 90 lbs. In the next month I'm hoping to progess and lift heavier.

Wow...I was 170 lbs then and ended up looking like this from slacking from the gym and eating way too many burgers on the grill that summer. The ex was NOT a good influence on me.
I plan on entering competition in June 2008, so training several times a week along with cardio and a clean diet is a must!
Goal (Long):
A year ago I found myself one of the heaviest I've been. Partly due to working two jobs (12 hr days, 5 days a week) and not paying attention to my diet. So, I decided to do something about it. Over the past year I've managed to drop from 170 lbs down to 135 lbs. Obviously I did it the old-fashioned way. Through a clean diet and spending alot of time at the gym. I've gone through a few periods that I took a break from the strict dieting (but always continued to work out) and now at this point, I am down to the last 15-20 lbs. I am determined to lose the rest of this weight. My goal...to see my abs and get ready for competition!
