Entered the Muscle Tech Contest as of January 1 2009. Will keep everyone updated on my progress flicks the 1st of every month!!!
Was in a major accident in 2008. Ruptured both Patella Tendons and could not walk for over 4 months. Legs suffered severe atrophy and bodyfat skyrockited.
Since relearning to walk I have committed myself to the Body Challenge for 2009.
I got started working out when I was 12 years old. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I'd went to live with my dad for a year in Oakland California, which was a big change coming from South Carolina. Food was different and lifestyle was also. In retrospect, everything was better for me as a youngster in that environment with him. I was chubby when I arrived because I pretty much ate everything I wanted and did what I wanted while growing up with moms, aunts, grandma. With dad it was different. Structure. Punctuality. Portion sizes. I remember the day I saw our neighbor working out in his back yard right next door to us. He was on blast. Cut, swole, detailed. I thought he was out of a comic book! I found out many years later that he had done a bid in prison, where he got that exceptional condition from. Anyway, the day I saw him, I was determined to "get big". He use to give my brother and I advice from time to time. Then after a year passed I came back to SC with moms and she bought my first set of 110lbs. weights with a bench. The rest is history.
Why I Love It:
Without the Bodybuilding background I dont' know if I would be mentally ready to make a comeback from such a severe accident.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by striving to get my body/career/financial security back for my family.
BB Accomplishments:
NFPT Certified Trainer for over a decade, although
I have never entered a bodybuilding show.
2009 is my year to enter my very first show. I'd like to do the Georgia State Show this year. I'll keep you all posted on my progress.

If you look closely you can see the scars from both Patella Tendon Ruptures last year which contributed to my fat gains. Bed restricted for over 4 months and learning to walk again.
I'd like to get my abs back like I had 4 years ago. (see my website).
Drop 50lbs of fat, overall tone back up. My muscle mass is there. Need to be lean again.
My old best was 5% bodyfat at 225lbs.
I'd like to be 5% bodyfat at about 240lbs. or heavier.
She is a regular everyday family woman that has completely transformed her physique into pro material with all the obstacles and stresses of everyday life.
Awesome!
This guy started healthy living very late in life, and completely changed the game. He's in better conditioning than the above average 21 year old.
Priceless!
His achievements make me know that I will come back and reach my goals. No excuses!
During prep, w/ the exception of my veggies, I do protein and fats. I usually do oatmeal every 3-4 days. I respond way better prepping this way. Doesn't work for everyone...I've seen some ppl do better on low fats and moderate carbs..I'm the opposite.
nice man. i'm going strong with the cardio, but switched back to power lifting for the next 19 weeks. I'm entering a meet in NJ at the end of January; then i intend to do a bodybuilding comp in May '10.
