Have been working out on and off for a while.Decided to get serious a few years ago,it hasn't been easy but i'm proud of my accomplishments.
Why I Love It:
The pump i get,the state of mind I enter when pushing the iron is like nothing I can explain.Bodybuilding is the ultimate sport, because no matter how much money you have or how many supplements you take,if you don't have the genetics and work ethic, you will never be better than those who do.
How I Stay Motivated:
By looking at my progress in the mirror.Remembering how I looked when I started.Reading any and every bodybuilding magazine.
BB Accomplishments:
No contests as of yet but I have come a long way.Weighed 127 lbs in 1998,currently weigh over 220 lbs.
Forum Signature:
True Bodybuilding fan since 1989.

this photo is from aug 2006 .I was about 189 or 190lbs.
Looking back at what i've done and put my body through makes me realize how lucky I am to be here.Years back when i decided to get serious again and this time stick to my plan i knew it wouldn't be easy, but i had no idea what i was in for.Everything was going good for a while and i had made...
I won't go into detail.I use only Barbell and Dumbell exercises. The only exceptions are Lat Pulldowns,Leg Press,Lying Leg Curls, and Calf Machines.Free weights are the cornerstone of my workout program, and I see no need for change.I don't use wrist wraps, knee wraps,or even lifting gloves only...
Even my work gets in the way of training sometimes. But I am still bulking up even if it is getting harder because of the heat. I will see bigger gains during the fall and winter. CC.
Sorry to hear that. I'm sure everything will work out one way or another. It good to have something positive in such a turbulant time. My wife and I have been there and back so I feel for you. Do what you have to do man!
I know all about that. I've worked nights the last 5 years. I took it off this year and wound up working even more taking the kids to grandma's on the 4th and to an amusement park on the 5th. It was more relaxing to go back to work Sunday!!! But it was worth it. Created a lot of good memories.
