A realisation that it's about time I started making life changes before I can't make them!
Why I Love It:
Whenever anyone is asked "What shows health", the majority answer, "Muscles". Having researched the history of bodybuilding, it only seems fair that I start to enjoy that lifestyle
How I Stay Motivated:
With over 200 online bodybuilding contacts I know that if I falter, there's always someone I can speak to
BB Accomplishments:
None so far

Reduce bodyweight to "Normal" as defined by the BMI Index (i.e about 179lbs)
Goal (Long):
I would like to be able to be classed as "normal" as opposed to "overweight" on the BMI scale. Standing 5ft 11 tall, this means a bodyweight of no higher than 179lbs
I've been eating exactly the same as I have since I started counting my calories and this week I did a bit of extra walking and I gain 4 lbs???. If anyone can explain why this might be the case, I would be very happy indeed!
From now until the end of the year, a day a week walking around the main villages of the area where I live. From January to March, that will increase to three days a week, and then from March to May 2008 I am hoping to be able to walk around a different village every day for those eight...
We all start with nothing more than a thought or a brief dream, but soon the dream starts to become reality, reality becomes fact. And for some, that dream becomes fame and takes off exponentially...Chase the fact...and if it is meant to be, you will achieve the fame. All you need to do is dedicate! Good luck, bloke! Jack T.
Haha! I was just thinking...instead of loosing weight...just convert your bulk into..."BULK"! Start power-lifting and strength training buddy and in no time-flat, chaps will be asking permission before boarding on your car...
Also...no gyms in Whales...!? Sounds like a perfect business oportunity my man! And don't forget the adjacent supplement store!! It doesn't get better that this...! Ever here of Dorian Yates...?
Hi Cardimuscles. Glad to meet you old chap. Your goals are within reach. Keep strong and don't flounder (so gauche). How's life in WHALES, BRO? I am of strong English decent as well. It may appear that we have somewhat of the same career. As I am A professional in the transportation field also (professional driver).
Thanks for the compliment, I need all the encouragement I can get. I hope us older guys can be an encouragement to you younger men that life can be good and does not stop as you get older.
I wish you success with your reduction but remember that the BMI scale is just a guide line and it is how you look, feel and the amount of quality muscle you are carrying.
Stay focused and train with intensity.
Harry, my hat is probably a World War 2 Army hat (or even before that). I'm not certain. I found it in an antique store. BTW, I am ex military having served in the U.S. Navy and Persian Gulf War. It was great fun working with the Royal Navy.
Hey, you can do it! You are strong and so is everyone else on this site. It's all about how bad you want it! I'm opposite of you, I can't put on weight! But I'm trying like hell, and that's what'll make you successful! Good luck!
