When I Started:
How I Started:
I've been training off and on all my life!! I got started in high school of course a football star at one time . Then I fell in with and ameture bodybuilder who was opening his own gym . I was his first member and he kinda took me under his wing and taught me all the basics! As with many of us I went on to start a real job and family , the traing seem to take a back seat and eventually before i realized it ,i had stopped all together ! After 5 yrs off my workouts I found myself single, depressed and in general lost . Once I got myself back into the gym it was like a weight off my shoulders , my confidence was back , my energy had returned and just in general I felt great! Thats about it I guess , I have been training every since , I admit more serious at times than others over the years !! I have worked offshore for the last 8 yrs which should say it all because I had limited equipment !! In june of this year I took a job where Im home every day !! Im happy to say that I have been in the gym every day since and Im not stopping !!! I FEEL GREAT !!!
Why I Love It:
I Love seeing just how far I can push myself . The feeling I get in the gym when Im tired and sore but yet still find the nerve to keep going ! I like being different than the average people who like to say they are ""FIT"" ! My training has afforded me many life changes , too many to list in fact !!! I love to get that pumped feeling ,, the day after tightness!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Im going to be honest here !! I have something to prove ,, what that is will stay with me !! I have recieved alot of support from my family and my kids !!!

Good to hear there was no cancer! That can always be a scary moment. Taking a break from the gym always help and leaves more of an open window for motivation to push harder :) I'm training for a contest next summer, so hopefully that will work out! Good luck with everything!!
