When I Started:
How I Started:
(update) I have done ballet, gymnastics and competitive cheerleading & in general have always been active. I havent worked out in a while now though because i have been working 2 jobs and in the midst of starting my own business.
Yes my avatar is really me to those who doubt!
I am blessed with good genes and generally have a fit body without any effort.
My avatar pic was taken after months of not working out & is still a reflection of how i look now :)
I am interested in doing weights to gain extra definition but thats about all.
I am currently not a member at a gym as I don't feel the need to pay ridiculous monthly gym fees to go on a treadmill for an hr then go home like most girls do. What a waste & what a joke.
I will be starting muay thai training and weight training shortly (not at a gym). Before and after pics will be up as soon as possible.
Why I Love It:
I have respect for body builders. The sheer dedication, mental & physical stamina really impresses & inspires me.
You guys rock. Keep it up.
How I Stay Motivated:
I motivate myself in all aspects of life through self talk, its a mind set i have. I push through any hardship by holding my head high and knowing that quitting is weakness. Once i have a goal i do what ever i can to achieve it. Life is to short to be a quitter.
BB Accomplishments:
**update**
i just commenced my weigh training starting with the most important; squats, dead lifts and bench pressing. i'm taking my time with correct technique because i see alot of people who obviously have none. I think i did 5 sets of 20 kg or just under. Which i think is a great start as that's nearly 1/2 my weight. I couldn't believe how sore my legs were in comparison to when i didn't bother so much with technique.********
