When I Started:
Aug, 2008
How I Started:
I started weight training four years ago, but started training seriously early last year. My first Split went on for one year and that was just for mass. January 2009 i Watched WSM on ESPN and that made me train for strength. I got hooked and have been training heavy ever since.
Why I Love It:
I love moving weights. Watching the poundage go up over time is a incredible rush every time i look at my journals. Also the compliments you recieve from people eg "big guns etc.
How I Stay Motivated:
Keeping track of my improvement over time is a big boost. Hearing people say how much Ive gotten bigger or other compliments also motivates me more to try harder in the Gym.
Seeing guys like Kevin Nee and Marius Deadlifting heavy loads made me go to the Gym and test myself. Now Im hooked and trying to compete in powerlifting and/or strongman comps. Long term goals include deadlifting 500 to 600 kgs, i know it sound crazy but I have feeling its achievable. Squating 300 to 400kgs and Benching over 300kgs.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 20 kg
Bodyfat Goal:
10%

What forearm workout has worked best for you?
At the moment I'm doing alot of clamp work when I'm outside of the gym but inside I do train with the barbell only and do wrist curls and thick bar work
Just last month I started training for strength instead of mass. Slowly my body is starting to adapt to the change. Only hitting the gym four times a week instead of six, giving my body the time to recover after heavy lifting. I must say that i struggled with the first days of heavy...
Training is going well brother. I'm making gains but have to push harder. My next comp is on the 13th of June. It's almost here and i'm gonna give it hell baby!
