I absolutely agree with you. Not only do you become desensitized to it after a while but there has to be some emotional on and off switch. You basically have to detach yourself from the situation and look at it objectively. I think that would be the hardest part of the job because there are some cases that you can't help but connect with.

I totally understand your motivation! You definitely need to pamper yourself every once in a while. For me it's not piercings but tattoos. I'm excited because I am getting my next tattoo tomorrow!

Even though you had limited access that must have been such an eye opening experience! I am jelous! What got me turned to forensics though was the fact that I would be able to focus on my love for A&P and still be able to help others. Another thing for me is that it is a challenge everyday since every case is different. The fact that a new mystery to be solved comes in everyday and I can help solve that puzzle and help put families at ease.
