How I Started:
I got back into it after seeing a photo from my daughters middle school graduation. OH, it was HORRIBLE!!! Being a Texas boy at heart (grandma is still there) I did things like all my family, BIG meals and BIG steak..All the time, but it had to change..
Why I Love It:
It has always given me a sense of accomplishment. To know that there is something in life to actually ENJOY aside from family and friends. Just to know that I have the potential to transform my body into anything I choose.
How I Stay Motivated:
Body-For-Life Contest video and BFL Success Stories video..YES, VHS video..I pray it doesn't go out because the stories behind these normal people were incredible. Bill Philips did a great job with this video. Even now I still look at the various finalists and say that someday I can WIN!!
BB Accomplishments:
Finally hitting my leg press goal of 504lbs for 12 reps.. and flat bench DB press with 95lbs..

Goal (Long):
Ever since high school I have always been interested in health and fitness. I spent hours after school in the weight room and even in college. Well, once you land that job that changes your exercise pattern, what used to be pretty impressive abs and shoulders just don't look the same. I want to get back to 195-205lbs with body fat under 10%. Yorton Cup in DC is Nov 13-14,2009.

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
It doesn't bother me because I am focused on my routine. No I do not grunt loudly.

What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?
For cardio I wear conpression shorts under shorts and a long sleeve sweatshirt. Leg day I use long compressions shorts.

Okay..I'm not the big blogger that many are, but just thought I would do this one.  I have heard many many things about nitric oxide products and its benefits.  So, with so many on the market, what is the best?  Just trying to get the right expansion of blood vessels.
