Background

When I Started: Aug 2011
HOW I STARTED:

im most comfortable as a runner, but when i moved to my new duty station, i buddied up with my gym partner who is much more of a lifter then i am.

WHY I LOVE IT:

i love seeing these results. i feel like a new person every week!

ending week 7 and looking forward

this week has been stressful, at home being sick and at work.


staying focused was hard, but i feel like im coming around. i havnt been having the cravings for junk food anymore, which is a blessing really. i thought i would take alot longer for those to go away. i look at some of the foods that i used to really like and get mad at how unhealthy they are.


being sick has been a test of will. i dont want to get out of bed after a night of coughing and struggling to breathe, but at 0315 my alarm is going off and i WILL be headed to the gym. i was the first one in twic

starting week 6

   starting week six after the holiday weekend. i feel great about the workout routine and working out a few tweeks to kick up some new results. the lifting is great and im increasing the weight i toss around weekly, but i'd like to cut more fat. So, with welcome arms i've decided to get up about 30 mins earlier to hit the gym right when it opens at 0400 to knock out some more cardio before i work out.



  i'm also planning on wearing my heart rate monitor during workouts now, to log my range and see where im at in that respect. i'd also like to start loggin...
