After I got done with college a new career and family left me neglecting fitness. I have always had a tough time keeping weight on and I fell down to a scrawny 148lbs....that did it, I finally had enough. I started eating better (and more!) and working out at home, the rest has been a slow and steady progression. At times working out has been off and on, but something clicked recently, not sure what, but something. I am absolutely taking this more seriously, and missing my goals is no longer an option.
Why I Love It:
The feeling after a good workout combined with setting a good example for my children.
How I Stay Motivated:
Definitely I like being healthy for my family, but more so this is really for me. It's that feeling I get every day after working out and the results that keep me going.

Waaaha! I just hit a all time low since I stopped growing! 143.6 I'm super pumped now LOL!!!! All I did was adjust a little bit my diet and it seemed it was enough to get off that stupid plateau I was on... kewl! So how are you today?
I would soooooo like to train in my underwear!!!! Gosh that would be the most comfortable thing... no sticky cloths, no extra laudry (well assuming you train at night and have worn the underwear during the day otherwise that would still be extra laundry... I hope!... LOLOL!!!!!
Hehe i saw transformers this weekend too.......... in IMAX! =D Yup I've actually managed to squeeze all my workouts in and convince my friend I'm "obsessed" for waking up so early to workout. Maybe I am lol. Its not as bad as I thought it would be but I'm looking foward to being able to lift at night again. So any plans for this coming weekend?
Legs, huh?? Truly a love/hate thing isn't it?! And yes...my shoulders are tight!! AND...i did 1 hour on the cybex, kinda like an elliptical, and i'm soooo tired!!!! Was a great workout tho ;0) You have a killer leg workout and i will chat with ya soon!! -cat

So how was the workout? Don't you find it a bit hard to workout alone in your basement? I need to have people to joke around with at the gym and also to spot me on my heavy sets... but the joking around just makes it more fun... LOL! So I got a new nickname at the gym cause of my pink nails... Pinky! LOL!!!! Throw some news my way when you get a chance sweets ;)
i don't mind cleaning, but it's caked on dust. it's so gross and then causes my allergies to act up so i'm constantly sneezing which then ends up hurting my piercings (only when i sneeze a lot though).

ha, only got part of top floor done, still need to do the basement - the worst of it all >_<.
I'm doing great, been feeling super drained lately. Plus i've completely forgotten that today is Canada day - nothing special, not even good fireworks (Edmonton is bad for that).
I wonder, lately i've been eating right away after i take my thyroid medication (apparently you're suppose to wait 30mins at least), hopefully that won't affect anything too much =/

Hey sweets! Training is going good but my legs are just about ready to fall off LOL! I really don't understand what was going through the head of the dude that did the layout at my gym... he put the freakn leg machines UPSTAIRS! So once you've been sweating for 45min an hour you now have to go down the stairs... LOL!!! BUT I'm good, today is rest day... So taking it easy, working from home... with the laptop on my bed LOL!! Wish my Aunt still had her old house, had an indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Sure was a nice.
I only did a 20min HIIT and 20min jog today since I knew i'd be cleaning. So far we've tossed out about 12 bags of garbage just from the kitchen - how disgusting. Thank god i've only had to live here for about 2 months i don't think i could stand being here fro 6 months with the place like it is - messy and unorganized.
yes, always feels good afterward before it though i'm dreading it - that'd probably change though if i got to go swimming. Have a good workout ^_^
tomorrow is cardio but only 50mins total, hopefully i wont be too drained from today. Did 10min HIIT and 60min strength training then cleaning on top of that.
