How I Started:
Well i first showed intrest after i was divorced. I needed an outlet for my frustration. It may not be the best way to get started but there are much worst things I could have done. At least I’m making something positive out of it. I’m not bitter….. much! ;)
Well here I go again. Time to get back on the program. I had some MAJOR life events occur that cause me to put my health on the back burner.
So I’ll be starting my new journey to excellence at 210Lbs and 20%ish body fat. I recently had surgery on my wrist so I am not able to start lifting right away. Instead, I will take this recovery time to work on cardio (my weakest link) and core cause we all need a strong core to build on plus I’m fat and weak and I needed it. First goal: get back in a healthy routine. This = no smoking, no drinking (maybe the occasional glass of red wine at dinner) and no sodas. Let’s see if I can’t get my weight down to 200 in two weeks.
Anyone interested in helping me win the ARP's Most Popular Driver Competition on Speed51.com? I did not even know I was in the running until lunch today. Apparently today is the last day to vote.
The voting ends Monday at Midnight.
I have trouble with that too, but it really makes a difference! I used to dish up my plate - then take 1/2 off and put it on another plate & stick it in the frig. I would tell myself out loud that I was going to eat it in 2 hours. And then I was OK.
