When I Started:
Jul, 1999
How I Started:
In the summer before my freshman year of high school I wanted to be able to climb the ropes in P.E. that I've always seen on TV. When I got to high school they did not have any ropes...
Why I Love It:
Being able to transform your body into your choosing is probably the most satisfying thing in the world.
How I Stay Motivated:
I make my workouts fun, workout with a partner, have a home gym as to not worry about driving to a gym.
Also I know that only stopping my routine will put me further behind my goals and send me back to a skinny person.
BB Accomplishments:
I don't compete, so it's probably starting as a lanky boy that people would say needed some "meat on his bones" to a man that people now say "whoa you got big"
Forum Signature:

This is a high school graduation picture. Even though I was working out then (with little diet knowledge), I still was a very skinny person. I decided to post this picture to show where I came from. Prob weigh around 150 lbs here.
This picture is after a short cutting cycle. I'm currently trying a new workout routine/diet that is not cutting or bulking.
Get down to 10% bodyfat, work myself all the way up to 225 pounds.

Since I've wrote a blog post. Well I finished up my Bachelor's degree recently and now I have weeks of free time!!... before I start my Master's which means more school. Anyway I'm doing great with my workouts, as each week goes by I get in the best shape of my life.
Hey B,
How is the training going? I know it can be tough when your in school. I'm a teacher myself and I find it hard to muster the energy after working with kids all day.

Your article on
How Can You Preserve Muscle While Cutting?
was amazing! I have lost so much muscle that I have been demoralized cutting, you have inspired me to be much more optimistic about my fat loss. I truly hope your concept works.
Cheers!

Hi Burning Heart. I have a problem with building my calf muscles. I started in June and I exercise them often. I can feel them burning and growth is very slow. Please assist.
Training is good, I was just able to get consistent again because school's spring semester is over with. I was in the best shape ever last fall, and I'm still staying in pretty good shape. I'm trying to get back into the best shape ever this summer, and hopefully be able to maintain it during the next semester.
Hey there, training has been slow the past 3 weeks. The new semester started here and it's been super busy, with something to do every night of the week (my usualy workout time)
Add to this I pulled a muscle in my back, was out for a week with that, then slightly pulled a muscle in my shoulder after the back was healed.
Today was my first day working out in 3 weeks. I'm ready to get back on my routine :)
By muscle definition I'm guessing you mean a fat loss to accentuate your muscles. I have taken Lipo-6 before, but that's the only fat burner I've tried. They have a new formula out, and it is supposed to be as good as the old one, so give that a try!
