I started actually trying to get bigger May 2009 - after 6 years of lightweight rowing.
I'm a D1 rower, ultra-distance runner, triathlete (well I did 1 olympic triathlon and came in 3rd place), and a swimmer. I hope to inspire people here to get fit the right way. I graduated college with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and was captain of the SJU Varsity Rowing team.
I am on my way to medical school and would really like to use the knowledge of health that I have gained to help others make gains and accomplish the unthinkable.
Why I Love It:
When I'm doing a workout and someone sees me pushing my limits, maybe lifting more than they'd expect and hearing ("steroids") off in the distance. Especially when I even hesitate taking TYLENOL lol.
How I Stay Motivated:
Drinking lots of Coke.
The woman in the gym today who said I looked beautiful while I was doing squats HAHA.

Hey and just a side note if you want to be my friend on here, at least say something to me first.
She inspires me because not only is she ripped, but she makes me laugh out loud. She has a way of building me up, then shutting me down with her monster bench stats! We have extreme modesty and perfect qualities in common.
Why I like this video: This is pretty much how I started. Back when I didn't have much money and couldn't afford a gym membership. I didn't have much to work with but I didn't let that stop me. I would go to the desert every day after school to use anything I could to get RIPPED and show off for the Indian girls. As you can see from my physique, I have come a long way in my transformation.

Why I like this video: Before bodybuilding my goal was to be as "hip and funky" as possible. I woke up every morning and put on my acid wash jeans one leg at a time along with my XL shirt. Most days I hung out with my friends next to my pontiac firebird being funky for the boom-box and whoever would walk by.
I got to the point where I thought I was hot and everyone else was, well, not. I believed I topped everything. Life was good.
Then, one day this nobody-girl from my high school rode her bike over and actually TOPPED that as you can see. After that day, I was never the same. Since then I've been bodybuilding.
So once in a while I'll swing by the member gallery to try and find some new inspiration, or a potential friend but lately I can not help but notice a certain concurrence among many of the men's pictures. Maybe you've noticed too; let me paint a picture: middle-aged man, bathroom or...
