How I Started:
I have always enjoyed running. As a highschool athlete, I competed in track and cross country. Upon graduating from school, I decided it was time to put some muscle on my skinny body!
Why I Love It:
I place much importance on the mental drive I strive for in the gym for other aspects of my life. The same determination it requires to finish the last set of a grueling squat workout can be used when finishing a college report. I want to be the best I can be in mind, body, and spirit.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have no excuses! I can work out on the clock. There is absolutely no reason why I cannot work out five days a week. The atmosphere I work in is all the motivation I need!
BB Accomplishments:
Squating without being embarrassed. When I finally stopped only lifting upper body like so many rookie weight lifters, my max was 225. I can now do that 10 times...and I'm working for 20! LOL
Hi Burly! Yes it feels great! I like seeing the changes that comes from the effort I put into working out. Hopefully I'll see alot more definition in my abs, arms, and legs soon. Take care.
