Overall Goal: Going into a cycle. Form will be important. Getting my squat technic proper. I am still not flexible enough. Concentration on core and abs is going to continue during the cardio
Fit Status:
fine and ok. eating in schedule again....
In 2006 I was getting fatter and because I work a lot behind the computer I had to do something to get myself in a better shape. Otherwise it would get worser.
Why I Love It:
During Collegetime I did a lot of sport. Mainly running. This I kept on till the end 90. In 2007 I started working on my body in general. I feel better, healthier and my posture and the general condition are stronger. And the feeling after pumping up the shoulder/chest muscles is great.
How I Stay Motivated:
Reading articles and reading about exercises on bodybuilding.com and watching videos on Youtube about exercises. Also by seeing some progress in capabilities and strength.

Last week during exercises at the gym some people came and I already thought "well, more are going to like the early morning exercises." But I was to early. This morning I had the whole room for myself. Maybe they try it once and finding it to much effort they abandon it...
I am now starting to do all exercises in the morning before work. That means cardio and iron. Still I am taking a lot of emphasis on the cardio site. I gradually shifting it to the iron site.
Be very incremental and careful with the calorie increases. Like maybe a 100 calories more or so a day and stick with that for a couple of weeks and see if you like what happens. I did some "bulking" once and went a little crazy and a couple of weeks into it I realized what I put on was NOT muscle! Be patient and experiment. Good work focusing on diet. The more you focus there, the more likely you are to get where you want to be.
Your progress pics are really looking great bro! I could tell just looking at your face shot in your Avi that the weight has been coming off. NICE! Another fine example of determination in the 40-50 something guys around here. It is never too late to get started - and you do not have to be 20 something to pack on muscle. Continue to be relentless!
You were entering good workouts mid July ! Keep them up ! I realise it is a bit rich of me to talk, when I'm not exactly setting a good example myself..... But I will shortly restart, probably training at home because my job situation is so unsure....
