Ok after the obliged restday yesterday. But I did 20 minutes of cardio. Went out for running and did some push-ups and crunches...

Background
In 2006 I was getting fatter and because I work a lot behind the computer I had to do something to get myself in a better shape. Otherwise it would get worser.
During Collegetime I did a lot of sport. Mainly running. This I kept on till the end 90. In 2007 I started working on my body in general. I feel better, healthier and my posture and the general condition are stronger. And the feeling after pumping up the shoulder/chest muscles is great.

Today I uploaded some pictures I took this morning after the regular workout. You see they are all unsharp. Couldn't do better. I am planning for next week friday a picture shoot with a trainer while I do some exercises which should give good muscle show. Workout went ok. deloaded some weight for the calve raise because my right foot is in stress... And the full squat I went not higher then 80 kg... But did them... Go to BodyBlog

Yesterday I went with a friend running in Lutterzand. An area near the German Border. the small river the Dinkel is streaming there. The nature is variable rich and one has to keep up attention to not make a wrong move while running. We did a path off about 3 km and a second one smaller maybe 1,5 km.. I had a very intens grappling match in Amsterdam with 2 guys from Britain. They were over for a holiday and we had made an appointment to meet in Amsterdam. One was 94 kilo, one was 88 and I am 91. I was the oldest. My strength is ok but they were stronger on the technical side. Leg-calmps and arm-clamps, they are difficult to get out. It was a nice meeting and we all enjoyed it. The weather is clearly changing from the normal cold to regular warm days. I am sweating a lot in the gym and this morning had to drag myself during the last exercises. But all went well with a day record for the reverse pec deck. The 80kg squats fellt very heavy this morning. I had to retake myself after the sets.. The tempo was good. As I skipped the density factor I still try not to make many rests moments in between the exercises and sets. But the weather and... Go to BodyBlog

This morning my mood was low and spirits seemed flying everywhere accept in me. But the custom that this sport has become dragged me to the gym. And now afterwards I am glad I went. It cleared my mind of the mess it was in and made me realize the nagging part of me before I went.....
