When I Started:
Jun, 2007
How I Started:
I have always been athletic. I have worked out (hobby) / exercised my whole life. So staying fit was pretty easy up until about age 27. It was then I hit a wall and noticed my metabolism & my body started to add fat and I put on weight. I didn't like it. But I lived with it. I was not happy with myself at all. For me, it was all diet. I got fat and really struggled with my weight for several years with nothing really working long term for me. In Jul 07 that it was time to make some changes...major changes. In Jul 07, I had already dropped about 20 lbs from my all time high weight of 205 lbs but was not satisified with how I "looked". I was running like 3-5 miles a day for 4-5 days a week but had not figured out the diet stuff. Was still eating like I always had...pizza, burgers, etc... and it showed. I asked a friend going thru a year long military school with me how he got so lean and fit and he said he bought the book "Body Rx," and now he just follows that. So I went out and got it and now I pretty much adhear to it. I have had pretty good results.
Why I Love It:
I feel better when I'm serious about training. It positively affects my attitude. I also like how the discipline spills over into other aspects of my life. Mostly, I like the results...pure vanity.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing positive results when I work hard as well as the negative results when I slack off. Setting and working hard to reach personal goals. Most impotantly to me, Christ Jesus my Lord.
BB Accomplishments:
My daughter said..."Daddy your not soft anymore when I hug you."

Had my photographer take a couple of pics of my arms today to compare with the one like 2 months ago. Those were the Cellucor "start" photos back on the 19th of March. I can honestly say that I was pretty surprised to see the difference. Both sets were taken w/o a pump, just...
This is generally what I do. Although I mix it up alot and do different things. Check out my w/o tracker for details on my program. Usually 5-8 different exercises on one or no more than 2 muscle groups in any workout.
5:30? How about 5:00! It was great. Now this morning was a different story. Only had about 4. 5 hours of sleep before the alarm at 5. Needless to say, I didn't roll out until 5:45. Get some sleep, sleepy-head. Have I told you already that that's a great arm?
Can't complain on this end ...doing pretty good switched up the workouts to full body and im feeling great now.Yup puerto rico for next week so I'm trying to get ready. Good to hear you are doing your thing!
